Lily Gladstone‘s incredible breakthrough performance in Killers of the Flower Moon has indelibly put her on the map as a brilliant acting talent in Hollywood, as well as an important voice in the conversation about Indigenous representation. And now that award-show season is in full swing, her red-carpet appearances are revealing she’s also a burgeoning beauty icon. The latest proof: her stunning makeup look at the Critics’ Choice Awards.

Gladstone, who was nominated for Best Actress, wore a beautiful, off-the-shoulder, cobalt blue Christian Siriano dress to the award show, fresh off of winning the corresponding Golden Globes category last week. Although that win surely played a part in her radiant glow, so did her picture-perfect makeup look, created by makeup artist Nick Barose.

At first glance, the stand-out piece of Gladstone’s makeup is her orange-red lip — a bold color that’s overdue for a comeback — created with Chanel’s 31 Le Rouge lipstick in Rouge Imaginaire and Le Crayon Lèvres lip liner in Blood Orange. But take a closer look and you’ll see the most inspired aspect of the look: her eyeliner.
