Yahoo Sports has tapped Kendall Baker to serve as a senior writer overseeing newsletter and cross-platform strategy, including the launch of a new daily newsletter.
Commenting on his new role, Baker said:

I’m grateful to join the company at such an exciting time and to work with a team that values insightful editorial content when many media companies are pulling back. I look forward to working with Ryan [Young] and the entire Yahoo Sports team to create world-class content and explore new ways to engage sports fans.”
Recently, Baker served as a sports editor at Axios, where he oversaw the daily Axios Sports newsletter. He is also the founder of the Sports Internet newsletter, which was bought by Axios in 2019.
He was head of content at The Hustle, worked at ESPN and served as a columnist at Bleacher Report.
Baker has a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
