Gita Jackson, a reporter at Vice Motherboard, is leaving the news organization.

She has been at Motherboard since January 2020 and has been covering internet culture, labor in comics and video games, fandom, and “content.”

She previously worked at Kotaku and Paste Magazine, and has been published by GQ and MTV News.

Gita grew up playing games with her older brother, and learned to appreciate them as an academic while obtaining a degree in cinema studies from Oberlin College.
