TL;DR
- European prices for the Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G have leaked online.
- It looks like you should expect a price hike over last year’s handsets.
The Samsung Galaxy A series has made major strides in the last few years, going from overpriced and underwhelming offerings to offering some great mid-range handsets. We’re expecting the Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G to launch in the coming months, and prices may have just leaked for these two phones.
Tipser Sudhanshu Ambhore and Appuals have posted apparent European prices for the two mid-range Samsung phones. Starting with the Galaxy A34 5G, the sources claim that the 6GB/128GB model will retail for €410 to €430 (~$440 to ~$461) while the 8GB/256GB model will be priced at €470 to €490 (~$504 to ~$526).
Switching to the higher-end Galaxy A54 5G, it’s claimed that the 8GB/128GB model will be priced at €530 to €550 (~$569 to ~$590). Need more storage? Then the 8GB/256GB variant could set you back €590 to €610 (~$633 to ~$654).
For what it’s worth, the Galaxy A33 5G started at €370 in Europe, while the Galaxy A53 5G started at €450. So it looks like Europeans could be in for a price increase this year.
Leaked specs suggest that both upcoming phones could be incremental refreshes at best. In saying so, the Galaxy A54 5G is tipped to offer a more powerful Exynos 1380 SoC, which would be a welcome upgrade over 2022’s middling Exynos 1280 processor.
