We’ve seen a change taking place over the years in the charger space, as phone chargers switch from having full-sized USB-A ports to USB-C ports instead. This change isn’t happening at a rapid pace though, but it’s still notable nonetheless.
In light of this change, we’re curious to find out whether your phone’s charger comes with a full-fledged USB-A port or a newer, USB-C port instead. So go ahead and vote in the poll below.
Does your phone charger have a USB-C port?

There are several benefits to having a charger with a USB-C port instead. For one, some newer phones from the likes of Google and Samsung don’t ship with chargers but do ship with USB-C to USB-C cables. So having a charger with this port means you can make use of these bundled cables. Furthermore, the speedy USB-PD charging standard relies on USB-C chargers rather than a charger with a USB-A port.
Then again, a ton of phones over the years shipped with chargers that have a full-sized USB-A port. In fact, we still see plenty of phones shipping with this charger, particularly when it comes to mid-rangers. So we can see your current phone charger still using this port.
