TL;DR
- It looks like Nothing has started teasing the launch of the Ear 2 buds.
- The company previously announced it’ll release a new product in March.
The Nothing Ear 2 has leaked several times over. Now, it looks like the company is finally ready to launch the new set of earbuds.
Nothing has posted a cryptic new teaser on Twitter with a picture of a Beetle. However, the caption of the post sort of gives up what the company is trying to hype up. It reads, “ladybug out, beetle in,” using icons for both bugs. This can only mean one thing, the Nothing Ear 1 will soon be replaced by a new set of flagship buds from the company.
Nothing used the ladybug extensively in the promotion of the Ear 1. Looks like the beetle will be the brand’s next mascot for its new pair of true wireless earbuds.
Nothing also said during its MWC 2023 announcements that it’ll launch a new product in March. So all signs point to the previously leaked Nothing Ear 2 buds.

The Nothing Ear 2 are tipped to feature a number of improvements over their predecessors. For one, the new buds are rumored to get multipoint connectivity. This means you’ll be able to pair them with two devices at the same time.
The buds are also expected to feature personalized active noise cancelation (ANC), so you can set your desired level of noise cancelation. Advanced EQ, Find earbuds, and a transparency mode are also some of the rumored attributes coming to the new Nothing earbuds.
As for the design, leaked renders suggest the Nothing Ear 2 will look identical to the Nothing Ear 1. The transparent charging case is also expected to remain the same.
