The Marina Rinaldi x Sara Battaglia Fall capsule collection, named “Absolutely Flawless” is one to look at. We are excited to share with you the latest plus size collaboration that is definitely inspired!
This is not the first collaboration from Marina Rinaldi, the sister brand of Max Mara. The brand has most recently tapped Marco de Vincenzo for a collaboration and has also had other designer capsule collections, including Tsumori Chisato, Stella Jean, Fausto Puglisi, Roksanda Ilincic and Antonio Berardi.
For this Fall capsule collection, Marina Rinaldi brought in Milan-based fashion designer Sara Battaglia, who recently partnered with the brand with their handbags. With this capsule collection, we get high-end designer plus size fashion that brings glamor, drama, vibrant hues, bold silhouettes.

On Inspiration for the Marina Rinaldi x Sara Battaglia Capsule Collection
In an interview with WWD, Sara Battaglia shares her inspiration for the “Absolutely Flawless” collection:
“Also, I wanted the collection to express joy,” she said. “You can see life in pink with these pair of sunglasses with a thick white frame and contrasting pink lenses.”
She continues to share in the interview, “I’ve always played with proportions, and I like to contrast them using unexpected materials… The purpose of my work is to continue to celebrate the femininity and beauty of women. What in the past would’ve been considered flaws, I now highlight as strengths and qualities that should no longer be hidden but accentuated. I find anything too perfect boring.”
