At an event as opulent as the Met Gala, would we expect anything less than a dramatic surprise from our girl Florence Pugh? The actor’s been debuting shorter and shorter hair at recent red carpet events, but we guess she finally decided to get rid of it altogether. And since nothing goes better with drama than, well, more drama, Pugh paired the new look with a feathered headpiece that will undoubtedly cause trouble when she tries to get through the bathroom door.
While this is her buzzcut’s first red carpet appearance, in an interview at the event Pugh revealed that the look was done a while ago for a film she’s currently shooting called We Live in Time. “It was required for the job, but I happily wanted to do it,” she said.
With all that hair out of the way, Flo could focus on her makeup. Her classically glamorous smokey eye was done by makeup artist Alex Babsky using Valentino Beauty products. The star of the show (her eye makeup) was created using a combination of the brand’s Twin Eyeliner in Black & Nero and Color-Flip Eyeshadow Palette.
