Katie Brigham, a lead producer for CNBC.com, has left the news organization after five years.

She has been reporting, shooting, scripting and editing 10-20 minute documentary pieces for CNBC’s website, YouTube and other social channels, with a focus on energy, green tech and climate change.

“I will miss working with the fantastic digital video team, and feel sad that CNBC’s climate desk didn’t get the chance to grow and expand as I’d hoped,” she wrote on LinkedIn. “But I’m also looking forward to exploring new journalism opportunities, especially in the energy and climate space.”

Brigham previously was a video producer for The Wall Street Journal.

She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Stanford University.
