Fall brings us a whole host of wonderful things: pretty foliage, pumpkin spice, chilly nights to be spent reading under a big blanket. But that colder weather can also bring a touch of chaos to our skin — not just on our face, but all over our body. While you might be used to adding an overnight mask or heavier day cream to your facial skin-care routine, there are also some easy swaps you can make to your body-care routine that’ll help stave off some of those winter woes like dryness and itchy patches.

To help you transition to your own cold-weather routine, board-certified dermatologist Mona Gohara, MD, branded content producer Kat Suico, and me, Allure‘s deputy digital director, are getting together to chat through some tips and product recommendations. It’ll all go down on a livestream, so you can watch along and chime in with your own questions — about winter body care, the best ingredients for all-over skin care, and any other beauty questions you might have.

Of course, there’s one more exciting thing that autumn brings every year: Allure‘s Best of Beauty Awards. We’d be remiss if we didn’t shout out some of the award-winning products in the body-care category that just so happen to be perfect for a hydration-focused routine. (And yes, that’s a mini spoiler: As Dr. Gohara told me ahead of the stream, if there’s one change you make to your routine as the weather gets colder, it should be to “triple hydrate,” meaning finding a body wash, exfoliator, and lotion that all have hydrating properties.) If any of our recommendations sound particularly intriguing, you’ll be able to shop directly from the livestream without leaving your seat.

We’ll be live at 4 p.m. ET on Wednesday, October 5 right here on Talk Shop Live. As soon as 4 p.m. hits, the video will start — so grab that big blanket, something warm to drink, and stay tuned!
