Senior story editor Nicole Ortiz has been laid off from Adweek magazine, along with others.
She has been managing its edit hub through which all digital content flows. Ortiz also helped lead newsroom initiatives on diversity and inclusion, style guide decisions and SEO. She is the former community editor where she built Adweek’s Voice column, an opinion channel comprised of guest contributions.
Ortiz previously served as the managing editor for Best Lawyers magazine.
She is a graduate of Binghamton University.
