Tony Ho Tran, the senior editor for innovation and tech at The Daily Beast, is leaving the news organization on Friday.
He has been covering technology including artificial intelligence, robotics, VR/AR, electric vehicles, and biotechnology. He was previously a staff writer for Futurism, and a contributing writer for The Chicago Defender.
His work has been seen in HuffPost, Narratively, Outside Magazine, Playboy, and more.
Tran is a graduate of the University of Iowa.
