Congratulations to actress Gabourey Sidibe and her husband, Brandon Frankel. The two are expecting twins! The Oscar nominee took to her Instagram with double the joy as she announced the news.

“I’m pregnant! We thought it was time to give our cats some responsibility so we’re giving them each a baby to take care of! Double the babies, double the cats, double the fun!! Twin Delivery coming soon! Twinty Twinty Four!!”, she wrote.

Sidibe looked radiant in a series of photos rocking a pink dress and flaunting her baby bump. Another photo also shows the couple pushing twin strollers together. The “Empire” star is partnered with Babylist, where she’s created a registry.

Congratulations poured in from all corners of the internet, with well-wishers expressing joy and anticipation for the impending arrival of not one but two bundles of joy.

Last year, the “Precious” actress shared on Live with Kelly and Ryan that she married Frankel. The couple got engaged in November 2020 after meeting on a dating app.

“The thing about weddings is I don’t like them. I don’t like them. Here’s an example of how much I don’t like them: I’m actually married. We got married over a year ago,” Sidibe explained.

Not realizing it was an official announcement, Ripa and Seacrest were initially “confused.” However, the actress quickly clarified that it was an announcement, and the two tied the knot at the kitchen table. “I really don’t like weddings,” she added.
