Whereas the 32-year-old Hubble House Telescope captures the universe largely within the seen gentle spectrum, revealing the distribution of stars within the galaxy, Webb focuses on the infrared spectrum, recognizing heat-emitting fuel and mud that accumulates within the galaxy’s spiral arms.
