‘Phantom Galaxy’ revealed by James Webb House Telescope, Hubble

A sequence of movies compares the views of the spectacular Phantom Galaxy, also referred to as M74, captured by the James Webb House Telescope and its predecessor Hubble. 

Whereas the 32-year-old Hubble House Telescope captures the universe largely within the seen gentle spectrum, revealing the distribution of stars within the galaxy, Webb focuses on the infrared spectrum, recognizing heat-emitting fuel and mud that accumulates within the galaxy’s spiral arms.
