Nicole Feriancek has been appointed editor in chief of Postmedia Network papers the Ottawa Citizen and the Ottawa Sun. Recently, she served as deputy editor, digital at the Ottawa Citizen.

Previously, she was a national video producer at Postmedia Network and an engagement editor at the Ottawa Citizen.

She freelanced for The Chronicle Herald in Canada.

Feriancek has a bachelor’s degree from the University of King’s College.
