It’s the most wonderful time of the year here at Allure, and no, we’re not referring to the jolly holiday or spooky season. Our annual Best of Beauty awards are back, and we’re excited to present the 345 winners for 2022 — well, not just yet. 

If you’re unfamiliar with the awards, here’s a quick breakdown: Each year, we test hundreds of beauty products to find the crème de la crème. Once that’s done, we select winners in 13 different categories: splurges, steals, scents, skin care, clean beauty, sensitive-skin-friendly products, body care, nails, hair, tools, lips, base makeup, and eye makeup. It’s a very extensive process, but it’s all worth it in the end when we can share the winners. This year’s award recipients will be officially announced on September 13, but as a treat, we’ll be providing a sneak peek a few hours earlier than usual. 

Our editor in chief Jessica Cruel, alongside a few Allure editors, will be showing, swatching, and demonstrating how to use some of these winners live. For instance, editors will be applying press-on nails, blush, and so much more on screen. You’ll also get the chance to ask us any beauty questions, whether they’re about application tips or ingredient information.
